Electronic Residual Current Protection Relay
This relay is designed to connect external toroidal transformers of the WG / WGS / WGC Series. It features self-reclosing with a programmable residual current trip and is equipped with a superimmunized type A relay, providing high-frequency current filtering and immunity. The monitoring is performed in TRMS, and the backlit display shows the following information:
- Adjustment values
- Instantaneous leakage current
The device has two independent outputs:
- Trip relay
- End-of-reclosing-sequence interlocking relay
Other features include:
- External input for remote control functions (230 V~)
- Automatic test of the connection and external transformer status
- Optional RS-485 Communications: type RGU-10C RAL
The device has reduced dimensions (3 modules) and can be assembled on a DIN rail 46277 (EN 50022). Optional assembly on a 72 x 72 panel with accessory M5ZZF1 is available.
Applications
The RGU-10 RAL relays, when associated with a meter, allow automatic reclosing after a trigger. This makes it the most suitable solution for applications such as:
- Public lighting
- Cash machines (ATMs)
- Refrigeration chambers
- Traffic lights
The design of this relay ensures maximum security and continuity of electrical service, preventing unwanted tripping.
