Description
The RGU-10B is an electronic residual current protection and monitoring relay (IEC 62020) compatible with protection transformers in the WGC-TB series. It is the most complete system for monitoring and controlling electrical insulation of type-B installations (IEC 60755).
Main Features
- Electronic relay with relay output
- Measures in AC, DC, or mixed current, type B (IEC 60755)
- Measures current intensity through connection with a residual current transformer of the WGC-TB series
- Programmable with a backlit LCD display:
- Displays trip current (turns red when tripped)
- Parameter programming
- Instantaneous leakage current display
- Disconnection of external transformer
- Status signaling via 2 LEDs
- Two independent programmable outputs (main and pre-alarm)
- Includes a remote-control input
- Mounts on DIN 46277 rail (EN 50022), 3 modules
Applications
The RGU-10B is suitable for monitoring electrical insulation in:
- Single or three-phase AC installations
- AC installations with DC components
- Purely DC installations (frequencies up to 1 kHz)
